Every Mayam mirror is covered for three years from the day it is delivered. If it fails because of the way we made it, we repair or replace it at no cost to you.
What it covers
Faults in how the mirror was made, showing up in normal indoor use:
- The glass coming loose, or starting to come out of its frame.
- A frame joint opening, or the frame coming apart.
- The backing, or the hanging fittings we fixed to the mirror, coming away.
- The silver going black, flaking or peeling, when the mirror hasn’t been exposed to the water or chemicals listed below.
- On a mirror with a built-in light, the light strip or its switch failing.
What it doesn’t cover
- Physical damage: cracks, chips or breakage from a knock, a fall, moving the mirror or fitting it.
- Minor scuffs, scratches and marks from everyday use.
- Problems caused by how it was fixed, such as a wall or a fixing that can’t take its weight.
- Water and chemicals: standing water, direct spray, outdoor use, and glass cleaners with ammonia or acid. Steam from a normal bathroom is fine.
- A mirror that has been altered, re-cut or repaired by someone else.
- Natural changes in a frame’s colour or finish over time.
- The cost of taking a mirror down and fitting it again.
Damage on the way to you isn’t a warranty matter. It has its own free exchange.
How to claim
- Message us on WhatsApp at +91 70153 10780 with your order number, and photos or a short video of the problem. If you can’t find the order number, the mobile number you ordered with is enough.
- We look at it and tell you what happens next. If we need to see the mirror, we arrange that.
- If the fault is covered, we repair the mirror or replace it with the same design and size, or the closest we make if that one is no longer available. We arrange and pay for collection and delivery.
A few details
- The three years run from the day of delivery. The warranty is for the person who bought the mirror, in India.
- A repaired or replacement mirror is covered for the rest of the original three years.
- This warranty comes on top of your rights under Indian consumer law and doesn’t limit them.
