Terms.

The terms for using this website and buying a mirror from us, in plain words.
Who we are
This website is run by registered business name, registered address (“Mayam”, “we”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If we change them, the new version applies to orders placed after the date at the top of this page.
Orders
You need to be 18 or over to place an order. Please check your size, frame, mobile number and address before you order, because each mirror is cut to order.
You get an order number when you place an order, and we start work once it is paid. We may decline or cancel an order if a price or description on the site is clearly wrong, if we can’t make or deliver it, or if we suspect misuse. If you have paid, we refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Indian rupees and include taxes and delivery. A price can change on the site, but not on an order you have already placed. You pay by UPI or card through Razorpay, or through a payment link we send you on WhatsApp. We never see your card number or UPI PIN.
The showroom prices on the site are our estimates of what a mirror of the same size, glass and frame typically sells for in Indian furniture showrooms. They are there for comparison and aren’t an offer from anyone else.
A discount code works once, on the order it is entered for, under the conditions shown with it. It has no cash value.
Your mirror
Glass and frames are cut and finished by hand, so sizes can vary by a few millimetres and colours can differ slightly from what your screen shows. The photographs show our designs in illustrative room settings, and reflections will differ in your home.
Delivery, returns and warranty
Returns and refunds explains delivery, free exchange for damage, refunds and cancellations. Our 3-year warranty covers faults in how a mirror was made. Both form part of these terms.
A mirror is your responsibility from the moment it is delivered to you.
Fitting it safely
Mirrors are heavy glass. Fix yours to a sound wall, with fixings suited to the wall and the mirror’s weight, and follow the instructions in the box. A leaning mirror should be secured so it can’t slide or tip, especially around children and pets. If you’re unsure, use a professional fitter. We aren’t responsible for damage or injury caused by fitting or using a mirror in a way we didn’t advise.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account, and you don’t need an account to buy. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may close an account that is used to misuse the site or harm others.
Reviews and what you post
A review must be your own honest experience. It can’t be offensive, unlawful, or use photos or videos you have no right to share. You keep ownership of what you post, and you allow us to show it on the site and in our marketing, with your first name and last initial.
We read every review before it goes up. We may refuse or remove one that breaks these rules, but not simply because it is negative.
Our content
The Mayam name and wordmark, our mirror designs, and the photographs and words on this site belong to us. Please don’t copy them for commercial use without asking.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Otherwise, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren’t liable for indirect loss.
We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as floods, strikes or transport shutdowns. If one affects your order, we will tell you and you can cancel it for a full refund.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first on WhatsApp at +91 70153 10780, or write to our grievance officer through the contact page. Any dispute goes to the courts at the place of our registered office. You can also call the National Consumer Helpline on 1915, or approach a consumer commission where you live.
