About us.

Mayam comes out of a family glass business that has been running since 2001, long enough to see how silver ages. Now we are putting our own name on the glass.

Every Mayam mirror is made in our own workshop and sold to you directly, so no showroom rent or middleman’s margin goes into the price. That is why we can sell about 30% below showroom prices. The saving is not in the glass: every mirror is cut from Saint-Gobain or AIS mirror glass, and it comes with a 3-year warranty.

Mayam comes from the Sanskrit ending -maya, “made of, full of”. A mirror is full of whatever stands in front of it. M-A-Y-A-M also reads the same from both ends, and we drew the letters so the right half is the exact reflection of the left.
